The Left Hook Coffee was created from a feeling we all experience at some point as we move through our lives.

In the world of Boxing, a right hook is the most common punch a fighter practices to block from the start. The “left hooks” are far and few between, but they’ll knock you off of your feet.

As in life, we are met with “left hooks” in all forms that we can’t possibly prepare for, and we have to figure out how to pivot, adapt, and overcome that massive hit!

We are cultivating a space where quality product and conversation go hand in hand to welcome all; novice and expert. The Left Hook Coffee was started from modest holdings, constant curiosity, and with intent to serve good coffee.

Howdy folks! We need your help to raise money for our cafe. We were able to utilize the $47k raised over the summer to outfit our production space located at 426 Hill St. Raleigh, NC. 27610 along with acquiring a higher capacity roaster, equipment for the cafe, and securing permits. We are working with a lender, but we need to do one more push to raise another $50k to get the cafe up and running! Every bit counts, and we want this shop open for you all early 2026.
